More than one million residents of Ukraine do not have a residency registration, and every third resident of the country does not live at the place of their registration. This was stated by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
More than one million Ukrainians do not have a residency registration: it is not even indicated in a passport, and every third Ukrainian does not live at the place of registration.
Fedorov noted that in April the government plans to start launching electronic registration – registration of a place of residence via a smartphone. At the same time, Fedorov stressed, officials will not have the right to demand a stamp on registration in passports.
