Ukraine’s Defense Ministry has published a map of Donbas areas, polluted with land mines and explosive remnants of the war.
«At present, Ukraine is one of the world’s most polluted areas with land mines and explosive remnants of war. With the beginning of the aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, there have been repeated explosions military personnel and civilians. To reduce the risk of accidents from unauthorized handling of explosive objects, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, with the assistance of NGO The HALO Trust, has developed an information map of territories contaminated by land mines and explosive remnants of war, which is published on the official website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in the Anti Mine Section,» – noted in the message of the Ministry.
