The Ukrainian side in the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbas demands to investigate the circumstances of the death of three teenagers in the occupied Horlivka in Donbas, caused by a mine explosion.
This was posted by the Kuchma’s press secretary Darka Olifer on Facebook.
«The Ukrainian side insists on investigating of the tragic death of children, who were exploded on a mine in Horlivka. According to preliminary data, the explosive device was identified as the directional type MON-50 mine,» – said in a statement.
In addition, the Ukrainian side has informed about the mine clearance works which were carried out.
«Since 2014, Ukrainian specialists have conducted mine clearance works on 29 thousand hectares of front and front-line territory in Donbas; were discovered and eliminated 420 thousand of explosive devices,» – said Kuchma’s press secretary.
