Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading and in general the bill No. 4074, according to which Ministry of Health is obliged to provide access to results of preclinical study and clinical trials of medicines. For this decision, 247 people’s deputies voted reports 112. Ukraine.
According to the bill, Ministry of Health is obliged to publish on its website the results of preclinical research and reports on clinical trials. Ministry of Health will have to provide this information in prescribed form. At the same time, they will not publish information that contains commercial secrets.
It is noted that this innovation will allow harmonizing domestic legislation regulating clinical trials of medicines with legislation of EU member states.
