Acting Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine Uliana Suprun has announced launching of online medical courses series.
“The Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine launched a series of medical courses. Everything can be done online, at any place and at any convenient time. Over a cup of cocoa on your favorite couch, for example. The main thing is the desire to learn new things,” Suprun said on her Facebook page.
The courses will be useful not only for medical or social workers, psychologists, but also for those who wish to expand their knowledge on the following topics:
• Viral hepatitis B and C
• Treatment of opioid dependence
• Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis
• Opportunistic infections, concomitant conditions and diseases
• Organizational aspects of providing integrated services for people with mental and behavioral disorders due to opioid use
• Prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV
• Psychosocial support of patients with opioid dependence
• Integrated care for people with mental and behavioral disorders due to opioid use
• Infectious tuberculosis control for primary health care workers.
Suprun clarified that this is only the first cycle of online learnings from the planned four. All courses are available here.
“Education is free. The teacher may recommend additional literature so that you can further explore a specific topic, but there are enough materials available to help successfully complete it. Training and testing materials, as well as a forum are available online at any time,” added the Minister of Health.
