Mother’s Day celebrations will be held in the capital

Celebrations on the occasion of the International Mother’s Day on May 12 will be held in Kyiv. A number of events are planned on Mikhailovskiy Square, in St. Volodymyr’s Patriarchal Cathedral. This is reported by the press service of the people’s deputy Olga Bogomolets.

Celebrations will begin at 10.00 on Mikhailovskiy Square. At 11.00, the solemn Procession of Mothers from St. Michael’s Square to St. Volodymyr’s Patriarchal Cathedral on Volodymyrska street and Blvd. Shevchenko, in which the wives of the dead warriors, veterans and soldiers of the ATO /JOF, members of the families of the Heavenly Hundreds, large families, members of families with cancer patients, will take part foreign guests and representatives of public organizations.

In addition, at 12.15 in the St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral Patriarchal Cathedral will be held worship and rewarding the mothers of the deceased heroes with the sign of national honor “Mother of the ATO Fighter.”
