Since the beginning of the election campaign in Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine registered 1,741 reports of violations of electoral legislation, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported on Facebook.
“In total 1,741 messages related to the electoral process violation have been registered since the beginning of the electoral process. Most of the facts are related to illegal agitation (1,102 offenses), bribing voters (130), property damage (30) and hooliganism (27),” the statement reads.
The ministry reported that due to these facts were opened 77 criminal proceedings.
About 83 reports of violations of electoral legislation were registered over the past day in Ukraine.
Mostly, reports were received from the city of Kyiv, as well as from Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv and Odessa oblasts.
As The Journalist reported, Ministry of Internal Affairs indicates that fve criminal proceedings related to violation of electoral process were opened over past day.
