Bicycle lane was organized along Druzhby Narodiv Boulevard (Kyiv)

A new public transport lane was set up on the Druzhby Narodiv Boulevard in Kyiv, where bicyclists are now allowed to move. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Transport Infrastructure of Kyiv City State Administration on Facebook.

The experimental lane for cyclists on the Druzhby Narodiv Boulevard is three kilometers long. It is noted that this experiment will legalize cyclists in the first road lane, according to the current traffic rules. The purpose of arranging this lane is to increase the safety for cyclists on the roads until a complex of safe bicycle infrastructures will be built.
As The Journalist reported earlier, new roads in Ukraine will be built considering adding bike lanes.
