The Chernobyl nuclear power plant (ChNPP) received permission to use the new safe confinement, which, together with the ready-made facilities, will be operated as a single object.
According to the Governmental Portal](https://www.kmu.gov.ua/ua/news/chaes-otrimala-dozvil-na-ekspluataciyu-ogorodzhuvalnogo-konturu-nbk-ta-prodovzhuye-roboti-dlya-vvedennya-arki-v-ekspluataciyu), the basis for issuing the relevant permit was the positive conclusion of the state examination of nuclear and radiation safety.
INFO: New Safe Confinement is an insulated arched structure over the NPP 4th power unit, destroyed by the accident. This object covered an old shelter. The arch became the largest mobile ground structure.
