On Tuesday, January 15, one soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was injured positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in the east of Ukraine. This was reported by the JFO HQ press center.
The Russian occupation forces violated the cease-fire regime five times, one time using weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements (artillery and mortars).
“The enemy resorted to 120-mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Ukrainian positions in the area of the Krymske settlement. Also from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, pro-Russian militants attacked Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Novooleksandrivka, Slavne and the village of Hnutovoe,” the message said.
According to intelligence data, on January 15, four occupiers were killed and another three were injured.
As The Journalist reported, a soldier from the Vinnitsa oblast died in the JFO area.
