JFO: One militant killed over past day in Donbas

Over the past day, the militants violated the cease-fire regime 10 times, seven times using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. The enemy launched 55 mines 120-mm and 82-mm mortars shells at Ukrainian troops positions. One Ukrainian soldier was slightly wounded as a result of shelling. In turn, according to Ukrainian intelligence, one militant was killed and another five were injured. It is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ.

«In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian fortified positions five times:

  • using 120-mm and 82-mm mortars near the settlement of Lebedynske;
  • using 120-mm mortars and weapons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicle BMP-1 near the village of Pisky;
  • using 82-mm mortars in the area of the settlement of Vodyane and, for the second time, from anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms;
  • using heavy machine guns and small arms near the village of Pavlopil.
    In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever (“North”), the enemy open fire at JFO positions five times:
  • using 82-mm mortars and heavy machine guns near the village of Ekaterynivka;
  • two times using 82-mm mortars and heavy grenade launchers of various systems near the village of Troyitske;
  • using hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms near the village of Novoluhanske;
  • using small arms near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska," said in a statement.
    According to intelligence data, on February 17, one occupier was killed and another five were injured.
    As The Journalist reported, road traffic will be partially restricted on the South Bridge in Kyiv.
