On November 1, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and another two were wounded in the combat zone in eastern Ukraine. This is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ on its Facebook page.
The militants shelled Ukrainian army positions 20 times, one time using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
«The enemy shelled from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms Ukrainian army positions near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, Zolote, Zaitsevo, Avdiyivka, Berezove, Krasnohorivka, Novotroyitske, Starohnativka, Hranitne, Chermalyk, Hnutove, Vodyane and Lebedynske. The Russian occupation forces were most active in the Mariupol sector,» the message says.
The enemy also shelled from 82-mm mortars a fortified position of Joint Forces near Chermalyk.
