JFO: Two militants killed in Donbas over past day

Over the past day, February 6, the Russian occupying forces shelled Ukrainian army positions 11 times in the combat zone in eastern Ukraine, three times using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements. No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).

"In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian fortified positions:

  • using automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns in the area of the village Lebedynske;
  • using rocket launchers in the area of Pavlopil;
  • using 82-mm mortars in the area of Pisky;
  • using automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near the village of Vodyane.
    In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the enemy open fire at JFO positions:
  • Two times using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms in the area of the Krymske village;
  • using automatic grenade launchers in the area of Khutir Vilniy;
  • using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms near the village of Pivdenne;
  • two times using 82-mm mortars in the area of Zhovanka;
  • using small arms in the area of the village Stanytsia Luhanska", – said in the JFO HQ report.
    It is noted that on February 6, two occupiers were killed and another one was injured. Also was destroyed the Ural military truck belong to the Russian occupation forces.
