Militants shelled Ukrainian positions 3 times over past day in Donbas

On January 3, the militants violated the cease-fire regime three times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area, without use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This informs the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ on its official Facebook page.
One Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action in the Donbas over the past day.

"The enemy opened fire from weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms attacking the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Vilne (Luhansk direction) and Zaitsevo (Horlivka direction)," the statement said.

It is noted that units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy.
According to intelligence data, two militants were injured.
As The Journalist reported, not a single Ukrainian soldier died or was injured over the past day in Donbas.
