JFO: One militant eliminated over past day in Donbas

On January 10, the Russian occupying forces violated the cease-fire regime three times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area, one time using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements. No casualties among the Ukrainian ranks reported, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ informs.

The enemy resorted to 82-mm mortars to shell the settlement of Zhovte (Luhansk area). Occupiers opened fire from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms attacking the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of the settlements of Vodyane and Pavlopil (Mariupol area).
Units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy.
According to intelligence data, on January 10, one occupier was killed and another two were injured.
