Starting from midnight on August 29, 2018 a termless ceasefire is declared in the Joint Forces Operation area in connection with the beginning of the academic year. This was reported by Spokesperson of the second President of Ukraine and the representative of the state to the Trilateral Contact Group, Darka Olifer on Facebook.
«Trilateral Contact Group along with the representatives of ORDLO confirms its complete commitment to the termless ceasefire in connection with the beginning of the academic year, starting from midnight on August 29, 2018,» – the report said.
It is noted that the parties pledge to take all necessary steps to ensure a sustainable ceasefire.
Recall that the OSCE SMM has recorded repeated violations from the militants’ side on the first day of the «grain ceasefire». But along with this, there is a significant decrease in the number of shelling compared to the previous period.
As The Journalist reported earlier, a ceasefire will start in Donbas from July 1 in connection with the harvesting season.
