At the Osokorki metro station in Kyiv, until November 25 of this year, the mural «More than Us» will be created. This is reported on the official page of the Kyiv Metro public utility on Facebook.
Over the implementation of the art project will work eight world-class artists. Artists Apollo Torres (Apollo Tores, Brazil) and Matthew Dawn (MATTHEW DAWN, Belgium) will be the first to start work on monumental wall painting of station.
«The goal of the project is to unite the people, raise the national spirit and patriotism through the prism of artistic visualization of strength of Ukraine with elements of social values. Artists want to draw attention to the problem of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the enhancement of its image in the field of contemporary art on the world stage», the message says.
The project will be implemented with the support of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine and the assistance of the Kyiv City State Administration.
