Kyiv State Administration envisaged UAH 200 thousand to hold the events dedicated to the 27th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine. It is planned that the celebration of Independence Day in Kyiv should cost to the City Budget about 187 thousand hryvnia; the part of this amount is planned to be save, Hromadske news agency quoted Kyiv City State Administration.
«The funds in the amount of UAH 200 000 to hold events dedicated to the Independence Day are envisaged to the Kyiv City Budget for 2018 in accordance with the city target program «Assistance to the development of civil society in Kiev for 2017-2019», approved by the decision of the Kyiv City Council No. 536 / 1540 on December 8, 2016,» – the report says.
At the same time, it is noted that the expenditures will totals UAH 187,000. This includes the organization of a flower-laying ceremony to the monument to Taras Shevchenko and the monument to Mykhailo Grushevsky; the organization of a festive event near the building of the Kyiv City Administration on Khreschatyk st.
«Concerning to the military parade dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, [Kyiv City Administration] informs that the preparation and holding of the parade is entrusted to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Funds for holding the military parade are not envisaged to the Kyiv City Budget,» – the KCSA noted.
As The Journalist reported earlier, military parade in Kyiv will be surprisingly powered and large-scaled.
