Queues for the personalization of foreign passports at the Ukraina polygraph combine have been completely eliminated, documents are being issued to citizens on time throughout Ukraine.
This was stated by the chairman of the State Migration Service (SMS) of Ukraine Maxym Sokolyuk, reports Unian.
«In Ukraine there are no queues for the production of biometric passports. All citizens receive documents in time», said Sokolyuk.
Also, according to the chairman of the SMS, now there is a slight decrease in demand for the production of documents.
According to Sokolyuk, the measures taken after a sharp increase in demand, starting with the introduction of a visa-free regime with the EU, allow more than 20,000 foreign passports and more than 5,000 ID cards to be issued daily.
«In general, about 9.5 million biometric passports for traveling abroad and almost 2 million ID-cards have already been issued», the chairman of the SMS said.
