National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NKREKP) has allowed Naftogaz not to impose penalties on the association of co-owners of apartment buildings for non-compliance with declared and actual gas consumption, the company’s press service reported.
The Apartment Owners Associations must sign an additional agreement with Naftogaz in order to avoid fines.
“The National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine has prepared and sent out additional agreements on non-application of penalties for non-compliance with declared and actual gas consumption to consumers who use gas within their special responsibilities (in particular Apartment Owners Associations with own boilers),” a company message said.
The size of the permissible deviation between the actual and declared consumption is increasing up to 10% (from previous 5%), and providing the opportunity to adjust the indicators until the last day of the month.
