On Tuesday, May 14, the National Bank of Ukraine introduced into circulation the coin “100 years of the Odessa Film Studio” with a denomination of UAH 5, the NBU’s press service reported on Facebook.
The coin is dedicated to the Ukrainian film studio, which created over 300 popular films during its long history, more than 1,500 film scenery were built, among which are the “The Prisoner of If Castle”, “The meeting place cannot be changed”, “In search of Captain Grant”, “Ten Little Niggers”, “D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers” etc.
The NBU reports that the coin is made of nickel silver metal. Its price is UAH 51. In total 40,000 coins has been issued.
