NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has announced an increase in the alliance’s military presence in the Black Sea region, as response to Russia’s violation of international norms, Facenews reported.
NATO Secretary General noted that since Russia’s control over the Crimea was established illegally, the construction of a bridge over the Kerch Strait does not comply with the law.
“The unlawful detention of Ukrainian sailors in November 2018 and the arrest of their ships only increased our concern about Russian violations,” said Stoltenberg.
He assured that Ukraine can count on NATO’s support.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko said that the Ukrainian army has 250,000 patriotic soldiers.
