The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) approved a decision to revoke a banking license and liquidate PJSC Unison Bank. This is reported by the press service of the NBU.
In April 2016, NBU has adopted a decision to declare Bank Unison PJSC as insolvent financial institutions. The National Bank noted that abovementioned bank became the second (after «TK Kredyt» Bank – ed.) withdrawn from the market because of its ownership structure fails to comply with transparency requirements.
It is noted that as of April 2016 the shareholders of Unison Bank were 11 companies, registered in the Republic of Cyprus, none of which owned a stake of 10% or more of the authorized capital of the bank.
