National Bank: the profitability of houses construction in Ukraine decreases

The National Bank of Ukraine announced that the profitability of housing construction in Ukraine in the medium term will decrease due to increased competition and cost, [reports](http://strana.ua/news/146274-v-natsbanke-zajavili-o-snizhenii-dokhodnosti -stroitelstva-zhilja.html) «Country.ua».

Experts predict an income reduction in the sphere of housing construction. The reason for this – the increase in competition and construction costs. Among the reasons for the increase in competition is a reduction in the number of development plots and new state building codes that limit the density of development.
But as of today, the supply still far exceeds demand, although there is reason to expect it to slow down.
It is noted that prices in the primary market in dollar terms increased by 1% compared to the previous year, in hryvnas – almost unchanged.
