In Ukraine, greenhouse cucumbers’ price sold in the markets almost doubled in just a week. The minimum price is at least 28 hryvnia per kilogram. About this reports TSN.
The reason for such a sharp rise in price sellers called the end of stocks. At the same time, the demand for these products remains consistently high. At the same time, it is reported that today’s cost of cucumbers is actually twice as high as in the same period of 2017.
Recall that the National Bank of Ukraine forecasts inflation at the end of 2018 at the level of 8.9%, which practically corresponds to the government forecast of 9%. The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank expect inflation in Ukraine this year at 9% and 10%, respectively.
