According to data provided by Nataliia Vishnevska, spokesperson for the Kyiv City Administration Health Department, 56 children were born in the capital on January 1.

“On December 31, 42 children were born in Kiev: 16 boys and 26 girls. And on the first day of 2019 already 56 children were born, 23 boys and 33 girls, including twin girls,”- said the speaker of the department.

It is noted that on January 1, 2018, 55 children were born in the capital, among whom there were more boys.
