The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) proposes to transfer all payments of salaries, pensions, subsidies and other payments from the state budget in non-cash form. This is stated in a NBU’s letter on the banks’ operation during the period of enhanced measures aimed to counter the spread of coronavirus, the NBU press center reports.
The regulator offers the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to “transfer all organizations, enterprises, individuals – recipients of cash assistance from state and local budgets – to receive wages, pensions, social benefits, subsidies, and subventions to be payed exclusively in non-cash to bank accounts with bank cards open for them.”
