NBU sold UAH 10 million in rolls using e-auction

The National Bank of Ukraine sold UAH 9.8 million in the form of uncut currency sheets at auction. This is the press service of the NBU reported.

"In total were sold 10,000 sheets with a face value of 1 hryvnia costing UAH 1.4 million; 20,000 sheets with a face value of 2 hryvnia (UAH 5.4 million), 3,000 sheets with a face value of 5 hryvnia (UAH 1.4 million) and 2,000 rolls of banknotes with a face value 10 hryvnia (UAH 1.6 million)," said in a statement.

The auction was held at the electronic trading system with the possibility of remote access.
As The Journalist reported, National Bank will issue 100 million new coins in nominations of 5 and 10 UAH.
