The head of the new State Customs Service Maksym Nefedov believes that the launch of a new customs service in two and a half months period sounds quite realistic, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“The start, that is, the transfer of at least 30% of the staff in two and a half months is realistic,” Nefedov noted.
The head of the customs service stressed the necessity to register the legal entity of the new department, and the Cabinet of Ministers is required to take a number of decisions on the new structure in order to start work.
“Before that – registration of a legal entity […] approval of estimates, maximum personnel number, a new structure and staffing are needed, as well as the decision on the formation of the territorial bodies of the State Customs Service, the provision on regional customs, registration of the relevant legal entities. And finally – a separate order to start work,” Nefedov said.
He also added that at this moment there were no candidates for the posts of his deputies.
