The municipal enterprise Kyivpastrans spent UAH 10 million 404 thousand in 2016 (according to the answer of Kyivpastrans for the official request of the resident of Kiev, Oleh Rivtin – ed.) for the installation of special elevators for persons with disabilities at high-speed tram stations. But as of today, none of this lifts are operating, reports 112.Ukraine news agency.
«I was given response with a sum after appealing to Lyudmila Denisova, the human rights commissioner, with a statement about violation of my right to information,» – Rivtin said, noting that he did not receive answers to the previous four requests to Kyivpastrans.
The fact that the elevators do not work, the communal enterprise has explained by the fact they have been damaged by unidentified persons and therefore the introduction into operation is delayed. Information about the facts of such damage was filed with the Police. In turn, the Police claim that they have not received any appeals from the municipal enterprise.
