German experts: world population grew for 83 million more

Specialists from the Earth Population Fund (EPF) have established that the number of people on the planet has increased over the past year to 7 billion 635 million people. The results of their research were provided on the eve of World Population Day, which is celebrated on July 11th.

German specialists claim that every 10 seconds in the world, 26 children are born. According to their forecasts, the number of people by 2050 will increase to 2.5 billion more.

It is noted that the main factor in the growth of mankind is an unwanted pregnancy.
Today, the world’s population is 7 billion 635 million people. This is 83 million more than a year before, experts of the German fund say.

«According to the UN, the largest city in the world is the capital of Japan, Tokyo, which is home to 37 million people. In the Indian capital of New Delhi live 29 million, and in Chinese Shanghai – 26 million people», report said.
