The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), Oleksandr Danyliuk, held a meeting with the Canadian delegation and representatives of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation. The representatives of the Foundation raised urgent issues that concern citizens of Donetsk and Luhansk regions controlled by Ukraine, as the press service of the National Security Council reports.

The representatives of the Foundation raised the issue relating to the prospects of the region’s development, namely: the restoration of infrastructure, the creation of jobs and the social guarantees provisions for residents  of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts controlled by Ukraine.

The representative of the Canadian Parliament stressed that Canada was ready to provide Ukraine with all necessary assistance.

Danyliuk, in his turn, noted that a crucial task for the NSDC is a plan for Donbas’ controlled territories, which is currently being developed.
