Jury of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) named the winners of National Competition of Odessa Film Festival-2018.
The best feature film is movie «Delta» directed by Oleksandr Techinskyi, reported on the Facebook page of the film festival. Documentary picture tells of life in the mouth of the Danube, whose inhabitants dream of catching a fantastic beluga, which once a year sails to the river to spawn.
It is noted that the script of this Ukrainian-German film was recognized as the winner of the 8th competitive selection of the State Committee of Ukraine and received state support in the amount of 1 million 852 thousand UAH, which is 40% of the total cost of the film.
The best short film is «Magnetic Storm» directed by Ihor Ganskyi.
Earlier «Journalist» reported that Hollywood actor Eric Roberts will come to the Odessa film festival.
