Ukraine is one of the largest beer suppliers to the EU

Despite several consecutive years of beer production declining, Ukraine exported to the EU 11 million liters of beverage in 2017, which is 3% of the total volume of the product imported to the European Union. This was reported by the Eurostat statistical office.
According to the last year’s import results, Mexico became the largest beer supplier to the EU (211 million liters and 52% of total imports), followed by Serbia (48 million liters, 12%), the third place took the US (39 million liters, 10 %). They are joined by Belarus (23 million liters, 6%) and China (16 million liters, 4%).
