The official dollar rate in Ukraine fell below UAH 26 for the first time since April 13, 2018. This was reported by the NBU’s press service.
The National Bank has set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against dollar at UAH 25.87.
The NBU said that since the beginning of this year, the US currency has dropped by 6.6%, or UAH 1.81.
Experts reported that one of the reasons for the dollar’s drop was the receipt of currency from the sale of state debt bonds to the foreigners.
