Danish SDG Investment Fund made EUR 5 million investment in the Ukrainian project of building 19.1 MW solar power plant in the Zhytomyr oblast. This is reported by the Chairman of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, Serhiy Savchuk, on his Facebook page.
The project envisages the installation of 59,000 solar panels, which will generate "green" electricity, quite enough to supply about 6.500 households.
Savchuk noted that the allocated fund make up a third part out of the total project cost.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine plans USD 1.22 billion investment on development of fleet in 2019.
