UN: more than 2,700 civilians killed in Donbas

Since April 2014 to mid-May, 2,725 civilians were killed in Donbas, excluding victims of the Boeing MH17 disaster. The Head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, Fiona Frazer, announced this at the briefing.

From April 14, 2014 until May 15, 2018, at least 2,725 civilians were killed in Donbas: 1,568 men, 961 women, 93 boys, 47 girls and 56 unidentified sex. In addition, 298 civilians, including 80 children, died in a MH17 disaster on July 17, 2014. Thus, the total number of deaths in Donbas is 3023.
It is noted that the total number of civilians injured in connection with the armed conflict is at 7-9 thousand people.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, militants staged an arson attack on their own ammo stockpile.
