The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine observers have recorded damage to civilian properties located in the south-eastern edge of Chermalyk (Donetsk Oblast), caused by the enemy shelling. This was reported by UNN news agency with reference to the latest OSCE SMM report.

“In 62 Naberezhna Street, on the south-eastern edge of Chermalyk, the Mission saw two holes: one in a north-facing outer wall and one in the outer pane of a window on the same side of the house. They also noticed a bullet graze mark on a pile of bricks stacked in front of the mentioned window. According to them, all the damage was caused by small-arms fire,” the report says.

The SMM observers also fixed a hole in the southern-facing outer wall of a shed about 10m south from single-storey house in 60 Naberezhna Street.

“The observers have assessed the damage as recent and caused by small-arms fire,” the report says.

A local resident reported that the shelling occurred during the night of 8 June.
