A special monitoring mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE SMM) reported a decrease in the number of explosions in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. This is stated in the OSCE SMM report.

During October 18-19, Mission observers recorded 165 explosions in Donetsk Oblast and 14 explosions in Luhansk Oblast.

The highest number of ceasefire violations were recorded at southerly of Yasynuvata (non-government-controlled, 16 km north-east of Donetsk) and in areas west of Sahanka (non-government-controlled, 97 km south of Donetsk).

“Between the evening of 19 and 20 October, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations in the number of ceasefire violations, including fewer explosions (about 30). The highest number of ceasefire violations were recorded in areas east-north-east and east of Maiorsk (government-controlled 45 km north-east of Donetsk), and in areas south-west and west-south-west of Yasynuvata,” the report says.

During this period, OSCE observers recorded 115 violations of the silence regime.

As The Journalist reported, Donbas militants hold population census.
