Passenger traffic through Ukraine’s air gate increased by 26% in the first half of the year. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported this yesterday, July 18.

«The Half Year Report for January-June 2018, shows that the passenger traffic through Ukraine’s airports increased by 26%,» – the report said.

According to the data of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, almost 8.9 million passengers were transported over the past six months. Of these, 7.9 million – in international traffic, which is 27.1% more than the same period last year.
In addition, the volume of passenger traffic of Ukrainian airlines increased by 18.7%, and the number of commercial shipments of domestic airlines increased by 8%. At the same time, 38.3 thousand flights (+ 7.3%) were carried out in international traffic.
