New release of the program «Musical cuisine» Alena Grebenyuk and Oksana Pazynich dedicated to the work of Aram Khachaturian, an outstanding composer, conductor and musician-public figure.
«This is a very interesting composer. He wrote three symphonies, three ballets, six concerts, music for 25 movies and 20 dramatic concerts. In his works, the east is felt. Perhaps, because Aram Khachaturian was born in Georgia to an Armenian family. By the way, he later began to study music, writing compositions, and, probably, folk art, songs sung by his mother, influenced his work, the mood of his works», Oksana Pazynich said.
Alena Grebenyuk reminded that Aram Khachaturian grew up in a multilingual musical atmosphere among instrumental ensembles, city songs and romances. He loved music from childhood and even played in the school chapel on the piano, the bugle and tuba. However, the parents did not approve of this hobby. Therefore, he was able to seriously engage in music only when he was 19.
«Khachaturian throughout his life, probably, like any musician, due to various life circumstances, was changing. This fact is reflected in his work, on how he perceives life and embodies it in his music», presenter said.
Alena Grebenyuk and Oksana Pazynich told about the creative path of Aram Khachaturian, about his training in the school named after Gnesin and the Moscow Conservatory, as well as the personal life of the composer.
