Prime Minister Denys Shmygal held a working meeting with representatives of road construction companies, during which he paid special attention to the employment of Ukrainians in the road construction industry, the Government portal reports.
The participants of the meeting raised the issue of obtaining permits for the start of construction work, which became relevant due to the decision to eliminate SACI, as well as the need to approve the methodology for the procurement of road construction works.
“We have previously agreed that the lion’s share of specialists involved in the work should be citizens of our country. At this time, when so many Ukrainians have returned home, we must provide them with jobs. This applies to both domestic and foreign contractors who work or will work on the construction of roads,” Shmygal said.
The parties also agreed to maximize the involvement of the domestic producer.
