PM Shmygal: Quarantine in Ukraine is until May 22, but this is not final date

Prime Minister Denys Shmygal on the air of 1+1 TV channel on May 12, said the government will prolong quarantine in Ukraine after May 22, the Government portal reports.

“The quarantine in the country is officially valid until May 22. But this is not final date, it will be extended,” the Prime Minister said.

According to him, the Government sees no need to introduce a full lockdown in the country. This is an adaptive quarantine.

“Local diseases in a particular city, or where outbreaks occur, we will quarantine locally. The whole world will live like this until it finds a vaccine,” Shmygal said.

Government Representative: Quarantine may be prolonged until September.
