Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal has outlined three quarantine levels and characterized each of them during an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
“Today we are introducing certain color-coded quarantine measures: yellow, orange, red,” Shmygal said.
According to him, the yellow level is characterized by a moderate situation when key industries work under mild quarantine conditions.
According to PM, the orange level is when the number of patients begins to grow gradually, and there are one or two fatal cases in a separate region. In such a situation, a region will be brought under control and isolated.
Red level is when a region or country is locked down completely.
Shmygal noted that today Ukraine is experiencing the red level.
He also noted that it will not be possible to overcome the coronavirus this year, and the mask regime, as well as social distance will become the norm in Ukraine for the next two years.
Prime Minister: We need to create new standards of living for Ukrainians.
