The activist Nikolai Bychko, who fought against corruption, was found hanged in a forest not far from the city of Chuhuiv (Kharkiv region). This is reported by Human rights activist Roman Likhachev on his Facebook page.
It is reported that in the lawyer’s opinion this was murder, not a suicide.

«Anti-corruption activist from the village of Eshar (Kharkiv region), was found hanged near Chuhuiv. The police arrived almost an hour later after it was called», – Likhachev stated.

According to his words, the disclosure of the incident will be «quickly completed».

«Nikolai was preparing documents to open a public organization. Before his death he also monitored the purification facilities – and then suddenly decided to hang himself- do not make me laugh», – said in the message.

A criminal case under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (murder) with the mark «suicide» was initiated.
INFO: Nikolai Bychko was an activist from the village of Eshar and administrator of the group «Eshar Initiative Youth» on Facebook, where he published information about the development of the village. The last publication in the group concerned the reconstruction of the source at the expense of local residents and the elucidation of the legality of actions for the removal of waste to the purification plant of the communal enterprise «Eshar Water». Bychko wrote that an environmental commission visited the village to identify possible violations.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the leader of Avtomaydan Vitaly Ustimenko was wounded in knife attack in Odessa.
