President of the Polish Personnel Service S.A. Krzysztof Inglot on the air of one of the Polish television channels has said that Poland plans to arrange charter flights for Ukrainian seasonal workers despite quarantine to overcome an acute shortage of labor force.
Inglot noted that Poland is suffering from a lack of labor force in the agriculture sector.
Farmers cannot harvest season’s crops without seasonal workers arriving from Ukraine. Polish farmers complain they will soon need to harvest asparagus and strawberries, while admitting labor shortage issues.
“We’d like to bring in the first group of 200 people from Ukraine to factories in Wrocław,” Inglot said.
