Near Kislitsy village (Odessa oblast) law enforcement officers found a field of 2 hectares, on which grew more than 20 thousand cannabis bushes. About this informs the press office Main Department of National Police of Odessa Oblast.

«During the search in the specified territory there was a guard and a tractor driver with equipment. Part of the plantations at that time had already been mown down, and the field was burnt. Now the law enforcement agencies are seizing the remaining plants. Also, measures are being taken to identify individuals involved in their sowing and growing», report said.

At prices of the black market, the cost of plants is more than 20 million hryvnia.
Malefactors who engaged in the cultivation of an illegal substance face imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
