The President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, announced that today he will sign a decree on the proclamation of the 10th anniversary of the Ukrainian language and will report on absolutely clear steps Ukraine need to take in these period. This is reported by «Ukrainian News».
«Today, during a trip to Ivano-Frankivsk region, I will sign a decree on the proclamation of the 10th anniversary of the Ukrainian language with absolutely clear steps we need to take in these 10 years», – said the president, without giving a details on this program.
At the same time, the president underlined that the positive results have been introduced by the quotas for Ukrainian-language on radio and television.
Note that the seventh National Prayer Breakfast in Kyiv was held today, on May 31, dedicated to the celebration of the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Kievan Rus’-Ukraine.
As «The Journalist» reported, because of the Russian language the scandal was unfolded on the popular Ukrainian TV show.
