President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko joined the initiative to create a manuscript Bible. About this reports press service of the head of state.
Petro Poroshenko met with heads and representatives of churches participating in Ukrainian Biblical Society on the occasion of the Year of the Word of God in Ukraine, which was celebrated in 2018. During the meeting, he wrote down the lines in the hand-written Bible, to creation of which thousands of citizens from all over Ukraine had already joined.
“Congratulations and grateful to the initiative, to which I today have the great honor to join. Because it will also attract attention and maybe someone, having seen today’s event, will find its way to God, someone, before going to bed, will open the Bible,” said Petro Poroshenko.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that Iryna Herashchenko said it was impossible for the Russian observers to be present at presidential elections.
