President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on October 25, the day of local elections in Ukraine, will be held a nationwide poll. The citizens will be asked five questions, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“On October 25, at the polling station, I will ask you five important questions about what we discuss on the street, in the kitchen and on the Internet, what we argue about with friends, parents or taxi drivers, about what we have never been asked about before. Five important questions to get your opinion,” Zelensky said in his video message.
The head of state did not specify what questions the citizens would be asked, but promised to provide “more details later.”
According to him, now the Verkhovna Rada is preparing to consolidate such an “important mechanism” as democracy at the legislative level.
